After doing so much work on the car, it was nice to spend the rest of the summer driving. The car was operating fine and there was no more problem with the clutch. It does not behave very well at city traffic, though.

There was also some happenings - Gruppo Fiat Finlandia Autumn Meet at Hämeenkyrö, track day at Ahvenisto, Hämeenlinna and Fiat Forum (a Finnish discussion forum) meet at Seinäjoki. Taking long journeys with the car always brings the 5-speed gearbox to my mind...

There is some video material taken from the track day, see the main page for the link. The engine and transmission was fine but the brakes were not up to date. Also a roll cage and proper racing seat with safety belts are on the list of wanted items. Despite of the wet, slippery and cold water I spent many enjoyable hours on the track, and much fuel was burnt.
