The car became significantly more silent after installing the new exhaust. It is equipped with one oval-shaped 2" silencer. If the car still sounds too loud in the future, another silencer is waiting in the garage. Because of the very limited space, I had to make the tailpipe to come out from the left side... I hope that this wont be heard in the cockpit too well.

Fuel feeding problems were fixed when I swapped the feeding line with the return line. Now, the feeding line is the smaller one. The fuel pressure is now set to 0.15bar (2.2psi). However, the Dellorto carbs with large needle valves do not need more.

The brake pressure regulator was renewed to fix the fluid leak. Because Fiat parts are cheap, there is no need to repair the old ones.

The engine had a quite rough idle, and it sounded like the engine was running only with three cylinders. Defective brake booster was found to be guilty for that. The valve clearances were also adjusted. The engine is now running smoothly.

After that, it was again time to test drive a little. The car performed significantly better now, but the mixture seemed to be a little on the rich side. I swapped the idle and main jets to smaller ones and now it feels even too lean at the transition stage. It is really fun to accelerate with full throttle and hear the turbo spooling up, and hear the sound of the dump valve when the throttle is released! :-)

It was clear that some kind of a measuring instrument was needed to make more precise tuning. I welded a nut into the exhaust pipe to make lambda sond installation possible. At the same time, I put an instrument panel with a few necessary gauges in place. The homemade panel contains gauges for battery voltage, oil temperature and lambda value. It is also possible to add exhaust temperature gauge later.

It is quite annoying that I don't have a collection of Dellorto jets available. It gets pretty expensive to buy new jets every time when a new setup is tried.

Despite of having no cooling problems, some panels were added by the radiator to ensure that maximum quantity of air is entering the radiator and intercooler. Also, the side mirrors and tail lights were put in place.
